Black Garlic is nothing like regular garlic. It has an unbelievable sweet yet savoury taste.
With the texture of soft liquorish and dried apricots, it has a deep flavour of aged balsamic, black cardamom, leather, smoke and tamarind. Black Garlic is a unique ingredient, as special in its own way say as Alba truffles or Beluga Caviar. In the first year of production, Black Garlic won a Gold Star in The Great Taste Awards and in 2013 and two Gold Stars in 2016 and Taste of the West Bronze Award.
Black Garlic has a shelf life of 12 months.
